Calculate your benefit: Age Factor times Years of Service times Average of three highest salary years equals Retirement benefit. Your sick leave is calculated with Years of Service (X sick days divided by 186 work days = portion of, or years, to be added to service). Use the CalSTRS Retirement Benefits Calculator at CalSTRS.com to get you started on what your benefits will look like at retirement.
