Members voted to accept the Tentative Agreement of January 5, 2023. The tally was 340 YES votes to 17 NO votes. At the time of voting we had a membership of 370. Since the vote six additional certificated employees have joined NFT.
The business office expects to have salaries adjusted and retro checks out by the end of March.

Attention NFT Members with Graduating High School Seniors: It's time to apply for NFT's scholarship! Please have your student complete this application and return to the NFT office by April 21, 2023.

The AFT has arranged for all active, working and retired members* in good standing to have a $5,000 accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance policy from Federal Insurance Company, a member insurer of the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies. The AD&D benefit is included in your AFT local union membership, so you’re already covered.
If you have 25 days or more of sick leave you may contribute 1-3 days of leave per year to NFT’s Catastrophic Leave Bank. A child of one of our NFT members has had a major accident which resulted in serious injuries. Due to the seriousness of this situation, this member will need to apply for catastrophic leave.
If you are able to donate to the bank, please complete the 'Contribute to Catastrophic Leave' form and send directly to Human Resources.
Members may donate sick leave days throughout the year.
