Thank you to the many members who have contributed in the past to the Catastrophic Leave Account. NFT members are able to donate one to three days of sick leave per year to help another member avoid hardship/loss of pay when a serious illness strikes.
Please consider donating a day to the Catastrophic Leave Account. A minimum balance of 250 hours is required in order for NUSD to distribute the hours to a certificated employee. Presently we are not at the minimum level required.
Contributions of sick leave days may be made throughout the year to the Catastrophic Leave Account. Complete the 'Contribute to Catastrophic Leave' form and send directly to Human Resources.
